At Fire Design, Inc. we are ready to provide you with accurate, efficient fire sprinkler design. Our owner, Cliff Whitfield, has been in the fire sprinkler industry since 1985 and has been NICET certified since 1989. He is currently a Level IV in fire protection engineering technology for automatic sprinkler system layout and is a Level II in Special Hazards. We are members of AFSA, NFSA & NFPA and support their efforts to educate the general public regarding life safety and property protection through the use of fire sprinklers. Fire sprinklers save lives!

We have (2) Level IV & (2) Level III NICET design technicians on our team with over 67 years of combined experience in the sprinkler industry. With Cliff's extensive background in fire sprinkler contracting and the vast experience of our design team, you can expect design that is accurate and cost effective.

Colorado, Nebraska, Arizona and the Carolinas. These clients not only work in their respective states but we have designed projects for them in Virginia, Washington D.C., Bahamas, Tanzania, Caymen Islands, Kenya & British Virgin Islands.

We work with Architects, Engineers and fire sprinkler contractors to provide any level of design required. Whether you need preliminary layouts, permit drawings, "full-blown" shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, BIM compliant or 3-D coordination drawings, we can meet your needs ON TIME & WITHIN BUDGET!

We have experience with single family homes, multi-family residential and most types of commercial construction including retail, office/tenant buildings and ESFR systems for distribution centers.

We perform all of our design in electronic format utilizing M.E.P. AutoSPRINK design software and take full advantage of receiving and transmitting information electronically via the Internet.
